In 2016, PhotOn Festival analyzed the situation of the migratory crisis towards Europe and the situation of refugees crossing the Mediterranean Sea. This year, the festival takes a deeper look at the situation of those who do not have the means or economic capacity to migrate from countries in conflict like Syria. What happens to those who stay? How is the life of those who cannot even afford to escape a war that has no end?
