Right after graduating I began to study documentary photography and photojournalism. In recent years I have photographed different topics as living conditions of prisoners in jails in Panama, the armed conflict in DR Congo, the living conditions of the Syrian refugees in neighboring countries or violence of Boko Haram in Nigeria.
My works have won awards at international festivals and awards such as the 2015 Human photojournalism award, Canada; Julia Margaret Cameron Award 2014, UK; Photofest Award 2014, Mexico; Prix de la Photographie Paris 2014; International Photography Awards (IPA) 2014 and 2013, USA; Moscow International Photo Awards 2014; Seminar photography and journalism Albarracin 2013.
I have published in various national and international media and my photographs have been exhibited in cities such as Montreal, Quebec, Moscow, Queretaro, Barcelona …
I have directed the documentary multimedia “Boko Haram, a war against them”.
