Gorka Lejarcegi

He has a degree in Advertising from the University of the Basque Country (EHU-UPV) and has law studies from UNED (National University of Distance Education).
Self-taught photographic training, begins his journalistic work in 1987 in the Aldaba magazine of Gernika, in the cycling weekly Pedalier of Bilbao and the newspaper El Correo of Bilbao, journals for which he makes photographic collaborations, making them compatible with the studios.
Based in Madrid since 1990 working as a photographer for the newspaper El País, covering all kinds of information and reportage. Also, his photographs have been published in books and numerous international publications through the newspaper’s content sales department.
He is currently in charge of coordinating the graphic edition of the weekly newspaper publications: El País Semanal, Babelia, Ideas, Viajero y Negocios.
