Natalia Sancha is a journalist and political scientist specializing in the Arab world. She collaborates with several media such as El País, Egypt Independent; Afkar / Ideas, Foreign Policy, Jadaliyya and Esglobal. Previously she worked as an analyst in Spanish think tanks like Fundación Alternativas or Elcano Royal Institute. Since 2008 she lives in Lebanon.

She is co-author of the book ‘Syria. The withered spring. Antonio Pampliega (Coordinator). Backlight Collection.

His images of destruction in Syria bring us closer to the landscape of the desolation of conflict zones. PhotOn Festival 2017 invites her to take part as a speaker on Saturday, May 6 to learn about the current situation in the area and the conditions under which photojournalists work in Syria.
