The author of the iconic picture of Nelson Mandela looking through the bars of the cell of Robben Island, in which he was imprisoned during 18 years, tells in Photon his extensive experience in the apartheid of South Africa. At 84 years old, Schadeberg, doctor honoris causa by the Technical University of Valencia, will also narrate his personal experiences with the Nobel Peace Prize, Nelson Mandela, to whom he photographed during more than 60 years (from 1952 to 2013).
