Joseph Eid is a Lebanese photojournalist working for Agence France Presse (AFP) as photo-coordinator and photographer for Lebanon-Syria and Jordan.
In recent months, his photograph of a Syrian man listening to music on his gramophone has circled the world and has become a representative icon of the living conditions of the people who cannot flee conflict zones. Photon Festival 2007 invites him to participate as a speaker on Saturday May 6th to tell us about his experience.
